Pandemic - With much sadness, the 2020 Homecoming Festival was canceled due to the pandemic.

2021 HOMECOMING FESTIVAL - ONLINE

Mississippi John Hurt 2021 Online Concert Series - Not wanting to forego the annual Homecoming Festival for another year, the Foundation hosted its celebration online.

The Mississippi John Hurt 2021 Online Concert Series was a series of virtual concerts that was livestreamed onto the Foundation's Facebook page throughout October 2021. A different artist was presented each Saturday in October for five exciting concerts.

2022 HOMECOMING FESTIVAL - CANCELLED

Documentary Film - There was no Homecoming Festival in 2022 because the Foundation chose to focus its time and resources on producing the documentary film, A Man Called Hurt. Thanks to your generous donations, the Foundation completed the film and it was well received on the film festival circuit. Please visit our Film Page for additional information and updates.
